About Marble
Marble stone is formed from limestone, superheated to form its unique crystalline structure. A luxurious surface and a very pretty stone with over 500 color options. Keep in mind, marble is perfect for look but you need to be aware of both the positives and negatives of marble.
Care & Maintenance
Marble needs the most care and maintenance between granite and quartz. There are steps to take to ensure the beauty of your marble slab. Marble is not scratch resistant; use a cutting board when slicing and dicing. Marble is not heat resistant and the marble can be burned or scorched; when using a hot pan protect your marble with a hot pad. Marble is not stain resistant, and most of the time when there is a spill it will soak into the marble right away to make clean-up difficult. When cleaning your marble, use warm water or clear soap.
